About Me

My Story
My Philosophy

My goal is to inform, educate and support you during this momentous time in your life.  This will allow you to feel empowered and  to make the best decisions suited for you and your baby.

This is a labour of love.

My name is Nathalie Laramee.

I am a daughter, a friend, a wife and a mother of 3 sons.

My calling to serve others came early on in my life.  I often seemed to  go out of my way to help others and very much enjoyed doing so, even as a young girl.

I have worked with children most of my life.  Babysitting, being a nanny, working in group homes and treatment centres for behaviour problem children and also working with mentally/physically challenged children.

Having children of my own enlightened another calling for me.  To help and serve birthing women. This is how I became a doula.  “A woman who serves others.”

I have been a doula for several years now and also work from home as a health and wellness representative.  This allows me flexibility in time and also permits me to enhance a woman’s birthing experience by using some of these wellness products.

I have assisted births at the Birthing Centre,  St. Boniface Hospital, Health Science Centre and Selkirk Hospital. My experiences have encompassed natural vaginal deliveries, medicated assisted births as well as caesarean section births. I have also assisted women who are alone, and those who are in a relationship. All have been wonderful!

My Training
